Three Step SEO Process
1. Web Site Review
The usual process starts with a site review to see what you have and what can be improved on your site. We’ll research the best keywords to target for your site. We also do some research to see what it would take to rank well against your competition.
2. Optimize Web Site For SEO
After the review, we make some or all of the recommended changes to the site, based on your budget. These changes will be both “on site” and “off site”.
3. Ongoing SEO Monitoring Service
Then we monitor things and make changes and improvements as required.
Pricing is Variable
I’ll do an initial site review for $200. That will give us some facts to base an estimate on for the initial phase of work, which is usually between $500 and $2500, depending on what we find and what the competition is. Monthly fees can range from $50 for basic monitoring, reporting, and advice, to $1,200 for adding content to the site and building “backlinks” to your site from other sites. Typical monthly fees are $300-$500, again, depending on your specific situation and your competition.
Initial Web Site Review
The initial review will contain:
1. A description of all changes that need to be made to your site.
2. A list of the top 200 relevant keywords to target, based on search volume.
3. A report of where you currently rank for each of those 200 keywords.
4. An evaluation of the top 10 competitors for the top 10 keywords
5. A description of what needs to be done “off site” to compete with them.
Even if you choose another SEO expert to do the work, it might be valuable for you to have the review to compare it with what anyone else offers to do for you.
