  Edmonton Energy and Technology Park

  The Edmonton Energy and Technology Park (EETP) is located directly north of the Anthony Henday ring road in Edmonton. The property is bordered by 195th Avenue to the north, 50th Street to the east and 66th Street to the west. The project will have direct access from the newly constructed 66th Street interchange. It is part of the Horse Hills Area Structure Plan, for which development is anticipated to occur over the next 40 years.

   

  Stage one consists of 77.22 total acres, with 21 building parcels ranging in size from 1.25 to 7.4 acres.

   

  EETP stage 1 includes several eco-industrial features including: Bio-Swales; LED street lighting; and pedestrian friendly features. In addition, the area includes a 27-acre park, stormwater ponds and a small ravine tributary. Walton worked closely with the City of Edmonton to develop seven primary eco-industrial principles implemented for vertical development of the site.

   

  Development and building uses in EETP are proposed to include light to medium industrial manufacturing and general industrial uses.

  Stony Industrial Park

  Stony Industrial Park is an 80-acre fully serviced industrial park, conveniently located in northwest Edmonton, Alberta. It offers excellent access for tenants to Highway 16/16A and direct access and exposure to the Anthony Henday ring road. This park is zoned and planned for a mix of light, medium and business industrial lots, giving tenants a variety of development opportunities in addition to its great transportation access.

   

  Parcels range in size from 1.7 acres to 4 acres.

Calgary Industrial Development

  Point Trotter

  Point Trotter is an industrial developed project partially owned and managed by Walton on behalf of the City of Calgary. It is a 273-acre fully serviced industrial park, located immediately west of Stoney Trail in Calgary. The property features a high degree of visibility, in addition to access from this key transportation corridor in the southeast part of the city.

   

  The first phase of construction will include a total of 145 acres of land. All parcels in Walton's portion of Point Trotter are designated as I-G (Industrial General), with each parcel ranging in size from 1.62 acres to 5.18 acres based on the approved land use and outline plan.

   

  Industrial architectural guidelines have been established for Point Trotter to ensure attractive architectural development, promote sustainable development, ensure proper treatment of development interfaces with transportation corridors, and protect owners, lessees and tenants from undesirable or low-quality use of the building sites. 

   

  Development was initiated in 2011 and fully serviced lots were made available to end users in the summer of 2012.
